At the international day of Human Rights, we participated in a Writing Marathon together with AISU (Amnesty International Students Group Utrecht). After taking up the courage to go outside at this (very) snowy day, we were welcomed with warm coffee and snacks and went writing letters at the beautiful old prison building (de Lik). Every December, Amnesty supporters across the globe write millions of letters for people whose basic human rights are being attacked. There are two kinds of letters written (or copied): on to a person in authority, and one to a person (or group) that they are fighting for. Thanks for all of you who have participated in the event, together we can make a change. For some of the success stories from last year, check out this website:
See you next year!
