Conflict Academy – Somalia

Always wanted to brush up on your negotiation skills? Interested in international conflict? Do you think you have what it takes to find a way out of a realistic crisis?
Then you must join our crisis simulation ‘Conflict Academy’! This edition will simulate an international humanitarian crisis in Somalia.

A crisis simulation works as follows: every participant will assume the role of a political, military, humanitarian or civilian actor in times of (armed) conflict. This fictitious scenario that takes place in the year 2050 so that current-day circumstances cannot be used to argue certain decisions taken by participants: you are completely dependant of your own negotiation skills!

Not feeling prepared for this sort of thing? Not an issue! With participating in the Conflict Academy comes a free negotiation training, designed by a professional diplomatic trainer! This will take place on the 22nd of January – two days before the simulation itself.

For members participation is free and the is a 2.50 euro cost for non-members.

Sing up using this registration link and fill out the form before 17:00 on Tuesday the 21st of January:
